*last update Feb. 02, 2000* In South Plainfield there is a long tradition of dedication, hard work and excellence. The wrestlers work hard in practice and dedicate themselves to the team. There is over 30 years of tradition involved in the South Plainfield Program, they hold an overall record of 354 wins 125 losses and 8 ties. They have won sixteen District 12 Championships, including the last 15 in a row. They also have won 14 Greater Middlesex Division Championships including the last 7 in row. In 1997 they were Central Jersey Group II Champions. And that very next year went up to the stronger Central Jersey Group III and won that also. And to top that all off they have won 7 Greater Middlesex Conference Championships since 1987.
